The TirumalaTirupatiDevasthanam (TTD) that looks after the affairs of the richest temple in the country in Tirumala has collected revenue of Rs 7.94 cr / 1,135,405 USD through e-auction of 4,300 kilos of first and second varietiesquality of human hair.

The hair is offered by lakhs of devotees who tonsure their heads as a mark of thanks giving at the Kalyanakatta and other designated areas.

Every day 12000+ devotees visit the Venkateshwara Temple, at Tirumala in the south Indian State of Andhra Pradesh. this hair is lovingly gathered and becomes the greatest, most beautiful hair in extensions, weaves and hairpieces to give confidence to women the world over.
